CIRCUIT BREAKER MECHANISM MONITORING
A slow tripping circuit breaker due to sluggish mechanism can cause major disruptions on power networks. This can lead to widespread loss of supply and damage to the plant. In other words, there are potential safety issues associated with the problem of having a faulty circuit breaker. Other failure modes could be related to battery or chargers.
We use trip PROFILE to capture the most important first trip. This enables rapid onsite analysis of potential defects by comparing the first trip or close profile to subsequent circuit breaker operations. This product also provides accurate information on the Main Contact Operating Time, Auxiliary Contact Operating Time, Condition of Close and Trip Coils, Condition of DC Battery Circuit, Auxiliary Contact Condition etc.
